Sunday Morning Worship
Worshipping together as the body of Christ is one of the most important ministries of AUMC. We gather every Sunday at 11 a.m. to worship God with our prayers, praises, and offerings.
We have Sunday School classes for a variety of ages. Sunday School meets at 9:45 a.m. for a devotion in the chapel and classes wrap up around 10:45.
Sunday Night Bible/Topical Study
Every Sunday night we gather at 5 p.m. for Bible and/or topical study. Currently, we're engaged in a study on evangelism using the book Unbinding the Gospel: Real Life Evangelism by Martha Grace Reese. Sunday night study is led by our pastor, Sister Sarah.
Every other month we meet at First Presbyterian Church to provide a warm meal and welcoming atmosphere to those in our community who are experiencing food insecurity.
On the second Saturday of each month we gather at 8:30 a.m. for home-made breakfast and a short devotion.
Quarter-Mile Walking Trail
We're proud to have a beautiful, unpaved quarter-mile walking trail open to anyone in our community. The trail is open from dusk to dawn and there are benches located around the trail if you need a rest. Be sure to keep an eye out for local wildlife and enjoy the flora and fauna of each season!
MSU Wesley Foundation
Adaton proudly supports the Wesley Foundation (Methodist campus ministry) at MSU by serving on the Board of Directors, advertising and participating in fundraisers/events, and inviting students to participate in the ministries of AUMC. Wesley students hold a special place in the hearts of Adaton folks and we're always looking for ways to participate in the work God is doing in and through the MSU Wesley Foundation.
Community Care Closet
We partner with First UMC to provide space for a resource closet for local foster and foster-vulnerable families. We accept donations of gently used youth/children's clothes, pack and plays, diapers, cribs, and other family-friendly items.
